SECOND ROW: Nancy Sheppard, Loretta Damme, Betty Walz, Linda Mau, Joyce Cook, Julie Lamp, Sally Kay, Robe The Wayne High School Choir, under the direction of Miss Jean Austin, zoomed to success early in the year at the Christmas Concert, December 9. Highlights of this concert were: Rockin' All Night, Mary Had A Baby, What Strangers Are These, and Adoramus Te, which was sung in Latin. The District Choral Clinic, held at Oakland, offered an interesting and profitable time. An evening Concert at 8:00 climaxed a six-hour rehearsal day. Seventeen members attended. SECOND ROW: Elenore Hanson, Gale Bathke, Roe Jean Woehler, Mary Schroeder, Carole Wright, Sharon Stuthmann, Betty Meyer. FIRST ROW: Dorothy Longe, Judith Owens, Linda Mau, Bette Walz, Carolyn Likes, Eileen Doud, Miss Bilson. This year marked the fourth year of Wayne l'ligh's FHA success. We again carried out many projects such as celebrating FHA Week, UN Day, and UNESCO, carrying out a Community Service, Families Together, and Community Beautification projects. Jane Jeffrey completed her term as State Historian after attending National Convention in Chicago last July, attending state executive meetings, andg carrying out her many duties as state officer. Mary Schroeder, District II President, assumed her presidential! duties at the District Convention in Blair last November. The Future Homemakers fulfill their motto by a three-fold program which includes Service, Education, and Recreation. FHA'ers pack Christmas packages for needy -38- families and Home for the Aged.
