Mariorie Dorman, head coach at Harvard University, has a winning team this year. They've won all six hundred basketball games they played this season. Weatherman Carl Allvin reports that the weather tomorrow is to be fair and warmer. Let's see what program is on Channel 25. It's the Main Street of Anytown, U.S.A. As we take a trip down Main Street, we see many familiar looking faces. Who's that tall lass on the corner over there? Why it's Bonnie Sorensen. What does that sign say? Sorensen's Dog Kennels. Bonnie looks tired-she must have spent many sleepless nights with her dogs. Walter Gilbert's Curiosity Shop is down the street aways. Over on the opposite side of the street is Mme. Dorthy Finn's Beauty Salon. And farther on down the stree-t is Test's Farm Equipment Store. Why, there's Paulson's Horse Stables. There's Ioeanne out scrubbing one of her thoroughbreds now. Elaine Otte's Baton School is the last stop on the program. Here comes the best program of the day, Circus Highlights, sponsored by lim Colson's Hatchery. There's the fat lady of the circus, Marlene Thun. The muscle man of the circus is-excuse me while I look again-it is-it's Vernon Hollman. Shirley Lindsay has come a long way since high school. Then she was a lover of cats, and now she's head lion-tamer of the circus. The star acrobats of the show are two misses that look familiar. lt looks like Ioan Grimm and Ioanne Damme. lt is! lsn't that man tall? He's the tall man of the circus, Harris Heineman. Paul Dangberg is the fire eater. He's just finished his lunch of a small bonfire. Ioan Hansen's trained seals are a favorite of the children. That must take patience to train those seals. Kenneth Hamer is the barker for that side show over there. Glen Meyer just drove a big car in front of the television camera. He and David Meyer are co-owners of this-the Meyer and Meyer Circus. Television is getting boring. Let's see what we can find of interest in this morning's newspaper. The show on at the Picture Theater is Decision After Dawn. The main stars are Alice Benthack, Donald Skeahan, and Dorthy Kluge. That picture won the highest award in the picture industry this year. In the sports section of the paper we find that Dwayne Atkins is scheduled to play in the tennis finals in Australia on Tuesday. Harvey Brader has just announced his jet car, the Brader Special. Along with Harvey's car comes the announce- ment of a new jet plane, the Milliken Star Rocket. Robert has been designing jet planes for many years, but this is the first time one of his models has been accepted for production. What does this ad say? Have your photographs taken at the Kabisch Photo Center. Ioanne insures you that you will be satisfied with your portrait or your money back. Gary Nelson has been named father of the year. That's a great honor for our old classmate. Elaine Hurd has been named mother of the year. Wasn't she an old classmate of ours, too? The 'Waynite Trio composed of Marilyn Day, Ioan Nelson, and Barbara Debus, is scheduled to appear on Friday at the Stork Club. Billie Leonard and Marlene Lange have made a great discovery in the world of science-how to cure rancerg- . .3 There's nothing else of interest in the paper, let's go to a magazine. Norma Bichel is on the cover. Here's an advertiseme-nt for Grandquist's High Power Gasoline. Janet Larson's Delicatessen is introducing a new dish, canned ice cream. The product is to be put out in the near future by Canning's Canning Co. Puth McPherran and Marie Kalkofen have composed the prize-winning song of the year. An article written by Phil James tells all about the girls' success. Victor Kniesche is modeling the coming fashions in men's clothes- lace pantaloons. Here's an ad for King's Phonograph Records. The latest release is My Old Nebraska Home, sung by crooner, Nell Burnham. On the last page of the magazine is an article about the famous magician, Don Kollmorgen. And here's a coming attraction to be in next month's magazine. A full-length novel written by Robert Iensen. A - , I Hasn't this been a refreshing look into the future? Of. course we're not guaranteeing that all these prophecies will come true, but it's been fun, and you never can tell. y V . , , M A +1 7-
