June 20 1952 Dear Seniors It has been concluded by learned men that there is no such thing as an absolute peace of mind l-low ever it is certainly a worthwhile endeavor to strive for such a goal and to come as near as possible to its attainment To be at peace with yourselves your neighbors and the world is good To do the tasks required of you by others to do the tasks you require of yourselves and to do them well is very satisfying It requires planning courage foresight perseverance and confidence it is a state of being that is healthful and should be sought after by all peoples of the world How much stronger and efficient our democracy would be if we could attain this peace of mind to any degree Someone has said O Lord give me the courage to change things that can be changed patience in 2 accepting those things that cannot be changed and I N C I common sense to know the difference It is my wish for you Seniors of Wayne Central School that you may continually Seek this peace of mind and in its search you will be happy in the know ledge that you are giving your best to yourself your emi loyer and your country Strive with all your power and my best wishes for your success and peace of mind vbah-JJ Lewis S Markham VICE PRINCIPAL I une 20 1952 Dear Seniors You are finishing one of the happiest periods of your entire life.
