After all the preparations were done and all the tickets were sold, the I987 lunior Prom finally got under way. Around 6:30 the guests began arriving in various kinds of transportation. They were greeted by chairpersons Cristen lohnson and li Soo Lee. The guys were decked out in tuxes and the girls in dresses of various colors and styles. As the band, Excursions, began to play, kids soon began dancing. By the time midnight rolled around, everyone was exhausted. The Prom was over and slowly the room emptied. During the weekend that followed, people went anywhere from New Hampshire to Cape Cod. Overall, the Prom was a great sucess!
