l l I Nearly everyone, during some point in their freshman year, dis- covers for the first time who Mr. Bolster is by asking the questiong who's the guy in the bow tie?' And usually they get the answer, oh, he's the one with the bees. This says something about Mr. Bolsterg he is well known by students who have never been in one of his classes. Even people who have no connection with WHS often know Mr. Bolster for his bees, sold in honey products locally. Mr. B's bees came as an offshoot of his sixteen years as head of the Continuing Education Program. Part of this program involved a v turnover of classes, so Mr. Bolster was kept ever busy look- ing for new people to teach. One of these people was a beekeeper, and all it took was for him to sit in on a few classes and Mr. Bolster was hooked. After twenty years with WHS Mr. Bolster is leaving this year. We who know him will surely miss the man who livened the equations with a happy greeting and his 'little quizzies', but who's to say next year's freshmen won't miss him more, without ex- periencing that first flood of inter- est: Mr. Bolster, oh, he's the one with the bees.
