GUIDANCE Intent on getting to know more students, the Guidance Department along with Dr. Cohen, Director ol Pupil Personnel, offered a series of discussion groups and lectures, ranging from A Year Off to Career Direction to Being Female . Mft-etiiig a few times a week, these groups gave students the opportunity to broaden themselves in school related and social prohlerns In addition to Elvira Williams, lillelr o Coordinator, three tutors joined the program this year, Sharon Philips in Reading and English, Connie Kennedy in Reading .rnrl Ssor ral Studies, and Weldon Williams in Math- Science.
