Hope Owen writes a letter to the students Dear Students: Another Traveler, woven of threads selected from the variegated fabric of college days, pre- serves for you the never to be forgotten exper- iences of this school year. They have recorded such important events as the opening of Bessie Fleming Hall, installa- tion of the stainless steel counter in Slaughter Memorial Center, beginning of construction on Van Howeling Memorial Library, the excitement of Homecoming, and Waylancl's admission to membership in the Southern Association of Col- leges. Here are the reminders of enduring friendships, of personal growth, of group a- chievements, of life-directing resolutions - - - a storehouse of memories to brighten all your tomorrows.
