GUR PRE IDE T ' - gf, A LETTER T0 THE STUDENTS As you travel down lifeis highway, I hope there will be times when you will pause, rest a bit and reminisce about the days through which you are now traveling. To aid you with these memories, this issue of THE TRAVELER will be most helpful. Landmarks along your early journey will stand out as you glance at photographs of teachers who inspired you with high hopes and who provided guidebooks and charts to keep you on the right path. Memories of friends, many of Whom are still your traveling companions, will be kindled as you look still farther into THE TRAVELER. To the 1955 staff of THE TBAVELEB, I am grateful, as you will be grateful later, for the imagination, the care, and the planning which have gone into this book, which will preserve for all of us a happy stretch on life's highway.
