2l the Big R d rallied and detea ed Milwaukee Lutheran Wayland traveled to Wisconsin Lutheran February 22 and was defeated 72 39 Northwest ern Preps hosted the Red Men on February 25 Way land ended its schedule with a 54 5l victory over Racine Lutheran on February 28 Under the time leadership ot Coach Nissalke Way land s i957 58 teams finished with an overall r cord ot six Nuns and twelve defeats Their contercnc cord was tive wins and nine defeats The Wayland Frosh Soph tearn this year won only tour of its sixteen contests but their final garn and win over Racine showed that they had learned well the lessons taught by Coach Meyer and indicated promise tor a better season next year . .
