GIRLS BASKETBALL Standing--Ticky Nason, Sig Hanson, Gretchen Smith, Sue Clark, Margie Eisert, Coach Mayer, Mary Jane Whale, Mary Jensen, Sue Jordan, Orah Schoon, Kay Jermain. Kneeling-Sukie Fisher, Sue Hicks, Judy Nagley, Judy Dehnilow, Liz Ridout, Cathy Qualey, Mary Engle, Lois Gates, Carrie Smith, Janet Sharp. Seated--Carol Gannon, Liz Wilson, Mary Hawkins, Sally Wilson, Mary Schlicher, Laura Smith. This year the little red started practicing before Christmas for their games which led up to the girls' tournament here. M. U. S., Downer, N. S. C. D., and Wayland participated in the tournament. The scores of the games of the first teams were: M U. S. All-North Shore 33, Wayland 50 - Downer 43. ln the second team division, Wayland won over N.S.C.D. The winners of the championship games were M. U. S. against Wayland resulting in a victory for M. U. S., 27-50. Wayland trounced Downer in the second team division 33-25. In the beginning of the season the little reds played M. U. S. losing by a score of 54-l9. The second team was victorious with a score of 29-16. The second game of the season against Downer resulted again in a loss for the first team. The score of that game was, 37-55. The second team came through with a big win of 30-19. Thanks go to Mrs. Mayer for a season ot good coaching and good sports- manship. Page Eighty-five
