The season started slowly and the team had trouble playing together, but after several weeks of practice, the team started to click and play the type of ball it was capable of playing. Mr. Patterson was coach until after Christmas vacation when he took over his full duties as Headmaster. Mr. Boya then took over as head coach and did a fine iob keeping up the Way- land tradition of having top notch basketball teams. The team played its best ball in the last halt of the season as it won six of the last eight encounters. The highlight of the season was the 74-32 victory over Mil- waukee Country Day.
