CLASS weekend after Homecoming. We had a large turnout and it proved to be a big success. The gym was divided into two parts with dancing in one end and games in the other. It was an entertaining evening for all who attended. This year our class has been ably led by our President, Hans Kraut, Vice President, Sue Hicks, Secretary, Gretchen Wernecke, Treasurer, Ann Hoyer. Miss Dwinell and Mr. Larrimore were always willing to chaperone and handle our many committee meetings and gave us the guidance we needed. FRESHMAN This year started out just right for the twenty nine Freshmen in our class. Working with real class spirit we came through with first prize in the Homecoming skits. A tale of the first day and a dorm mix up was our novel idea. Our effigy This Plug's for Wayland , received last place. The Freshmen moved right into the sports spotlight with both boys and girls representing us on varsity teams. A few of us ioined the ranks of Honor Roll too.
