OR We'd do Almost Anthing for Qur Beloved Yearbook. The Student Senators gave us The Dam Players, quizzes, prizes, dances, EATS. lncidentally, no steady couples allowed-isn't it kinda fun? King Griff and Queen Milly reign majestically over the Coronation Ball. lt was just a mid- winter dance . . but oh, brotherl Q6-Hockey races . . . broom ball and sane hockey too CREDS womb. Tug o' War Cthose Juniors stole the show againj, and Club l-lenri in the daytime Csnow foolinglj. ln the evening, professional skaters do their stuff despite Q00 below zero weather. 30-31-USemester exams are written in January, but passed . . . 'PH cjegtlltlfy 1-4-Long Weekend, but not a Hlostu one. Q- Wayland 38 . . . Winnebago Lutheran 27. 6-Oh, dem golden footballs. 8- Presenting the prize boner of the year . . . by Mr. Hicks: f'And Dr. Schoen, who is respon- sible for our illnesses. ll Wayland Q8-Elgin 30. 9-Wayland Q3 . . . Northwestern 32 Snafu 14- Be my Valentine? 15-Milwaukee Lutheran girls: 18, Wayland: 26. Milwaukee Lutheran boys: 43, Wayland: 40. 16 17 -The Club went to watch lowa beat Wis- consin while the rest of us made some dents in the gym floor at the Sophomore Roller Skating Party. -Club 13 makes its debut at a tea in the Roundy Clubrooms. 19-Wayland 42 . . . MUS 43. QQ- 23- Recital and after that to BDHS for the Midwinter Festival. ffrom now on, we carry watches to such affairs, 'cause we found out lime waits for no one . . . and neither do the Paskosf. Whoopee . . . Wayland 35, MUS 30. ultvwas a real masquerade ball, with costumes and all . . We danced so others may walk. JMWA 1-Forensic contest. Q-The Alumni Come Back and challenge the faculty in an afternoon battle. Having won a moral victory, they advance to meet the Way- land varsity, and then exert what energy they have left on the dance floor. 4-5-6-Religion ln Life week with its fellowships, 7 8 11 16 Q1 QQ Q3 inspiring talks by Rev. Moseley and thought- provoking discussions with the local ministers. - The weather outside was frightful, but the Freshman dance was delightful. Wayland 40 . . . Country Day 60. Club Kings' Ball . . . royalty in our midst. -Mr. Cleaves gives us a few pointers about wild life at night. 'lhatfs a joke, sonl Annual reopening of Wayland's own night.club, Club Lindsagon. Floor show'n everything. CDon't tell anyone l told you, but l heard that a certain Waylandite has opened up a new photography studio . . . right out under the big tree . . . open Saturday nights onlyllQ -lt might as well be spring . . . and it isl Wayland young men's fancies are turning to thoughts of. . . spring vacation. -Well, spring vacation is here, but so is the editor.
