The auto mechanics class often was busy tinkering with a car belonging to a stu- dent, teacher, or some other person from our area. One of the classes, under the direction of Mr. Rudy Cesco, spent the greater portion of the year designing and building a carport. Known as the Ditch Diggers , the boys spent two hours a day working exclusively on their project. Other classes were kept busy with the many jobs brought to them by various W.H.S. personnel.
