In the primary grades the child begins to learn about how society functions - how people work together. Your child is interested in himself and in his home. His-first jiessons satisfy this interest. They are about himself and other children and things that are familiar to the school and home Here we study about how, society is organized.

Note the rabbit on the table Mrs. Hubbard enjoys our games tool Hard at work - honest! Our combination first and second grade under the guidance of Mrs. Anne Hubbard, came into existance two months after the opening of school, when both our first and second grades 'became too 'large for effective teaching. This class has been kept small in order to compensate for the two grades being combined. le had many opportunities in this class to learn cooperation with others and to assume the role of leader.
