Deer friendsg ' , During the past few months we have been through a few trying times, and have experienced the feelings of happiness as well as those that accompany the feeling of disdouragement. They say that nothing ' of value in life comes easily. If this be true, then it becomes very clear to us how valuable the feeling- of peace and contentment is to our school. At the present time, the future still holds the door closed for me. However, not'looKing ahead, but back, I can see the more pleasant happenings and the very fine friendships that I have enjoyed with both students and parents during my two years as principal at Waverly. c Our difficulties have, I believe, impressed upon many of you as never before, the importance of sound administration and sincere, open-minded governing board members. The fate of your schools are very much in the hands of these individuals, and the contribution your school will make toward bettering citizens, both student and adult, is determined by the policies and enthusiasm of your administration and board. .
