Graduation Class Motto Finished Yet Only Beginning stands out above the graduates during the graduation program. Graduates of the Class of 1952 - Waverly Elementary School. Awards presented at the graduation included honorable discharge awards for graduating safety patrol members. Class pins to each member oflthe class, and annual awards to the most outstanding girl and most outstanding boy graduate. 1952 awards went to Wilma Bindi and Richard Benetiz.

On June 9, we had our annual school picnic in Oak Park. Through the courtesy of the Stockton Recreation District, we used the swimming pool for an all-school swim, ' and then retired' to the picnic grounds for our lunch. School buses transported the children and the Parents' Club together with the cafeteria cooks provided the refresh- ments. '
