The library staff of 1934-35 was composed of nine members, chosen from the honor pupils of the uppei classes. Duties of the librarians comprise the issuing and filing of catalogue cards, the cataloging of books the issuing of books for reading and reference, and the advising of students in reference work. Credit of one-half unit is allowed the librarians on recommendation of teachers. who judge them in respect to courtesy, initiative, industry, and mastery of library practice.
