SCHOOL BOARD Q-'vi ROW ONE Dr Shaw Mr Hagemann President, Mr, Jensen, ROW TWO: Mr, Juhl, Mr, Barnes, Mr Gibbs Secretary Mr Bahlmann NOT SHOWN: C, E, Moehling, Treasurer. Mr. F, W, Osincup was appointed secretary of the Board of Education on May 13, 1938, and resigned from that position on December 14, 1959, after faithfully serving for 22 years. During the 1937-38 school year the total expenditures were 378,880.69 and the school personnel numbered 60, During his last year as secretary, 1958-59, the expenditures totaled 3S584,594,81 and there were 110 school employees. In the 101 years that the school district has been in existence, Mr, Osincup also served for a time as mayor of Waverly. It is through the efforts of men like Mr. Oscincup that the quality of education has been furthered in our school district.

You seniors of l960have completed your work at Waverly High School and have had an opportunity to get a good start for your future. You are facing a world filled with many wonderful opportunities. Our nation has a great need for individuals with spirit, drive and initiative like yours, so set your eyes on a goal and push towards it. With confidence in your own abilities and faith in the wisdom of the goal you have set, you will achieve the success and happiness that your many friends at school would like you to have.
