, 4. 'ill Leading off the '57 Homecoming was the traditional snake dance and the bonfire. The following afternoon, during the pep assembly, Student Council Mayor Bob Mueller crowned Sharron Chestnut Queen. The marching band led the parade followed by the Senior Class Quecn's float. The attendants and seven other floats completed the colorful parade. During the half-time of the game, Queen Sharron was congratulated by Joie Carver, 1956 Homecoming Queen. Announced as winning floats in the parade were: First Place, Freshman Class float Bury the Huskieshg Second Place, Senior Class float The Queen Reigns g Third Place, Music Department float Play to Victory.
