Class Prophecy Claslgsogvveggagae into the crystal ball, we get a fleeting glimpse of the future of the Ronda Bay is now married to Jack Hamilton. Her kindergarten class is coming a- long fine, but she is having some trouble with her new students Paul Bowersox and Frank Borgna. Jim Whiskers, also known as Jim Beard, received his Ph. D. in Bug Extei-mi- nation from Harvard University last year. At the present time he is killing cock- roaches in the stock room of the largest grocery store in Kansas. The crystal ball becomes blurry as we come to Otto Buehler. The last we heard he was still a hermit in the Mole Hills of Arkansas. Bob Cox is. now driving Orville Lee's ambulance. Since he isn't used to the high speed, he is still nervous about his new job. Kathy Farrow finally decided what college she wanted to attend. She graduated from We st Point this summer. Upon graduating from high school, Ronald Gast is in the entertainment field. He thrills people by walking over cars, star-ting with the bumper and landing on the hood. Lawrence Gentry, famous for his comedy in high school, now appears on tele- vision every week. He lights the candles for Liberace. Lester Hess finally married Molly Philips and they have been living in California for some time. He is now one of the leading producers in Hollywood for MGM. Kenneth Johnson is now head salesman for the Huey, Luey, Dewey, Comic Company Keith Kelle is now head photolglrapher for Woltz Studio. Keith always did have a knack for taking pictures when e was on the annual staff. Joyce Corbin, the former Joyce Marsh, now has a goat farm near Topeka raising little kids. Lorna Perry got her 10th divorce in Reno this month. She is back in Waverly writ- ing her famous column in the Waverly Gazette, Advice to the Love-Lorn by Lorna. Darrell Pyle is now playing basketball for the Minneapolis Lakers. People say he is a second Wilt . - Vontilla Raulston, looking for her millionaire husband, finally found one in Texas. She has so many oil wells that it is running into money. Gabby, otherwise known as Gary Seaman, has taken over Joe McCarthy's place in the Senate. It seems Gary always did talk a lot at Waverly High. Anita Siebert is now playing first clarinet with the famous Spike Jones Band and his City Slickers. Sylvia Snyder has now graduated from Winfield College. She is now appearing in April in Parisol, the latest French mOV1C- Mark Stukey now colonel in the Air Force, has just come back from the moon. He is now credited with his new invention of the first rocket trip made successfully to and from the moon. Karen Whiteside now has a job sweeping up crumbs at Stems Typewriter Company in Emporia. After a Whirlwind Courtship of fifty years, Joy Williams and Don Fischer are finally planning to get married. It seems they don't believe in long engagements. Peggy Williams is secretary to Mr. Boxgfersoxil ttlgehlgeragigirtglssPiologlf department at Waverly Cgllege, She is an old H131 , IIIUC Beit Wiiliarnggn upon graduating from Kansas University and receiving her RN in nursing, is now practicing in the new hospital in Agricola.

Chartered Bus Bathing Beautie s The Docks enior Trip At 5 o'clock a. m. Friday, May 4, the Senior class and their sponsors, Mr. and Mrs. Ken Scott and Mrs. Smith Haworth, climbed into our chartered bus and headed for Rockaway Beach, Missouri. We stopped at Fort Scott for breakfast and arrived at our destination at 11:30 a. m. After getting settled in our cabins, which were natural stone Senior Boys The Line - up Dig these legs, with birch on the inside, everyone scattered out. Some went shop- Q if ping, others swimming, horseback riding, boat riding, surf board riding, and others sunbathed. p In the evening there was dancing, bowling, tennis, golf, skating, M-, and a movie at Branson, which is twenty miles up the river. Every- I y, one found it easier to do their own cooking. It was fun to watch the boys trying to cook. Sunday morning saw everybody bustling around trying to get all their belongings gathered up. At 11:30 we crawled on the bus and headed back to Kansas. We arrived in Waverly at 6:30 p. m. , everybody wishing we could have stayed longer.
