Since he isn't used to the high speed, he is still nervous about his new job. Kathy Farrow finally decided what college she wanted to attend. She graduated from We st Point this summer. Upon graduating from high school, Ronald Gast is in the entertainment field. He thrills people by walking over cars, star-ting with the bumper and landing on the hood. Lawrence Gentry, famous for his comedy in high school, now appears on tele- vision every week. He lights the candles for Liberace. Lester Hess finally married Molly Philips and they have been living in California for some time. He is now one of the leading producers in Hollywood for MGM. The Waverly 1955-56 basketball season was less victorious than in pre- vious years. The following were out for basketball, 4 seniors, 3 juniors, 3 sopho- mores, and l0 freshmen. Although we were not listed in the winning column our team played many good games. At the Coffey County Tournament we had the Gridley fans and the Lebo fans wor- ried and wondering until the last second of the game. Although we lost by 3 points from Gridley and gave Lebo a scare in the third quarter it was the best show- ing our team had made during the sea- son.
