Last Will and Testament of The Wavelamf Class of 1953 We, the Senior Class of 1953. all being duly informed that we have sufficient credits to graduate, do hereby will and bequeath as a class the following to the class of 1954: Twenty-three seats on the west side of the assembly, all short cuts to and from classes, plus the regular worn trails; and last, but not least, our beloved teachers. As individuals we have specific bequests which follow. 1, Neal Rogers, will my marvelous ability to make grades without studying to Charles Me- Murray. (Get behind an A student, Charles.) 1. Doris Pollock, will my calm disposition to Linda Howell. (Time for a change, Linda.) I, Dale Mitchell, will my freedom to move about as 1 please in Mr. Walker’s assembly to Max Gentry. (Hold your head high. Max.) 1. Bonnie Reynolds, will my position as ed- itor of the paper to Mary Ellen Miller. (You’ll be sorry, kid!) 1. Robert Harbison, will my position as class president to Jon Foster. Think you could do it Jon? I, Dean Milligan, will my wrestling powers to J. P. Morgan. ( The secret is to not pick on anybody more than 40 lbs. heavier than you.) I, Margie McClure, will my ability to get help in bookkeeping from Mrs. Servies to Irene Handley. (Good luck, kid.) I, Bob Grimes, will Darrell Miehls my be- loved pair of white bucks. (Please! Herkv don’t let them get clean.) I. Martha Mason, will to Delores Hutson, the first seat in the second row in government class. (Better luck, Delores!) I. Ruth Seybold, will my ability to be drum major to Wanda Hess. (It's remarkable to hear all the different comments, Wanda.) I, Martha Mae Priebe, will mv first period office job to Pat Hester. (See if you can keep the attendance straight. Pat.) I, Dean Sowers, will my ability to win a 4-H Scholarship to Purdue to Bill Jeffries. (Just join 4-H and show an Angus. Bill. You’ll win.) I, Rosemary Weaver, will to Lois Pitcock my beloved Government book and my front seat in government class. (It really isn’t so bad. Lois.) I. Bill Rivers, will my secret and confidential ambitions and back seat in the government class to Sidney Shanks. (Don’t talk too much, Sid.) I, Bob Grimes, will Jerry Johnson my ability to run my car on anything besides gas. (Give it a try, Jerry.) I. Bill Redden, will my magazine selling abiiitv to Terrv Evans. (Trv for a trophy, Terry.) I, Shirley Woodcock, will my ability to miss school at least once a week and still have average grades to Elinor Apple. (Don’t let V. L. P. hear about this, kid.) I, Leonard Sewell, will my A’s in govern- ment to Ottis Reynolds. (You’ll need them, kid!) I, Richard Smith, will my right to sleep in government class to Billy Joe Fulwider. (Just get behind someone bigger than you, Birdv.) I, Juanita Greve, will my front seat in the assembly to Warren Brewer. (What will happen to Apple and Bavless, Warren?) I. Blaine Tracv, will my ability to get D’s in Glee Club and my good looks to John Walker. (G kk1 luck. John, and keep that beauty set handy.) I, Daryel Newell, will my ability to get to school on time without any accidents to Jack Bayless. (Be careful. Jack.) I. Janet Hodgkin, will my vitamin pills to Jerry Joiner. (Think you could use them, Jerry?) 1. Jane Wheeler, will to Marianna Chappell, my job as high school reporter. It has its ad- vantages, Marianna. (But I haven’t found them.)
