It was a great game from gun to gun, and a tough game for the South Milwaukee lads to lose, but someone must finish second. It was the first game for us under Coach Todd, and incidentally, our initial victory. The asylum aspirants put up a great flghtg and 'when the final gong sounded they were the happiest team you d want to see We grabbed an early lead mainly through the efforts of Sobel and Easton and we managed to hold the lead the re mamder of the half Fisher of the foe dropped em 1n from all angles but h1s team mates were not so successful with the result that we led at the lntermlsslon 12 to 9 The South Milwaukee forces pilfered the spot llght the second half with great array of shots and took the front The score see sawed back and forth the rest of the tilt With about three min utes to go Wauwatosa trailed by about live markers but Huebner was inserted at this stage and our attack seemed to materialize better Easton looped one from mid floor and followed with a foul South Milwaukee put up a stalling game With but ten seconds to go we broke up the enemys offence and Huebner sank a basket just as the gun went off It was a great story book finish and the Green william or Toddmen have it the way you will earned the spoils only by their great fighting game and stick to it ive ness ,Sr gf- f , s i ,Co ffl' i fx' .E hgh !
