-L r. L . KL-R. HOT LUNCH Wautoma High School sponsored a hot-lunch pro ram again this year. The lunch was served first on October 15, 1945, and the price was twenty cents per meal. However, the co-operation of the student 'body was so great that the price was reduced to fifteen cents after afew months . The average nurnber of students who ate each day was about 135. Mrs. Nelson and Mrs. Bartel were in charge of cooking the meals. They also had six of the students in the kitchen who helped with the various tasks. Since the nurnber of students who ate was so large, it was pos- sible to serve hot lunches until May 26, 1950.
