The club sold pop and candy to the students at all football, basketball, and baseball games. It also had a candy and coke machine in the High School. The proceeds from these sales bought articles needed for all sports and paid for medical bills that the W. I. A, A. did not cover. The club also gave a present to all sick athletes and paid for the senior's school jackets. The club elected Gordon Schultz, President: Frank Pica, Vice Pres- identg Bob Wisner, Secretary--Treasurer: Elmer Hansel, Student Council. Mr. Batterman was the advisor. A yearly party was again held at Silvercryst. The Club's 48 members ate all they could and played games and sang songs for an enjoyable evening

Waala, W. Peterson. This year, Wautoma High School offered a course in Industrial Arts for the first time. The Department has shown such great promise that its members includeone third of the high school enrol1.ment. With the semester of 50-51, an enrollment of fifty per cent of the student body is expected. The course offers training in Mechanical Drawing, Wood- working, Welding, Sheet Metal and For e Work. With the increased en- rollrnent, the department hopes to branclgx out into the finer arts of Leather - craft, Masonry, Plastics, Electrical and Motor Mechanics. The Indus- trial Arts program benefits both the rural and city students. At the be inning of the second semester, students formed an Indus- trial Arts Clui: to further work in specialized fields. The boys are very pleased with the opportunity to develop useful hobbies and to learn other trades as a future means of support. The Officers for the club are: I Robert Wisner, President: Milton Blader, Vice President: Emil Rinaldi, Sec . Treasurer, Bob Nigbor, Sgt at Arms, Gerald Polakowski, Student Council Representative. Advisor, Mr. Gracyalny.
