Johnson, An exceptionally large year. Since we had twenty to be an elimination before Wilcox, E. Sauer, J. Gehrke, A. Miracle. I-1. Blader, B. Koechel, A. Redlin, K. Young E. Ludtke, C. Caswell. M. Skidmore, K. Rose, A. Kocurek, M. Bolser, K. Killeen, E. Spielberger. Gilson, J. Hanneman, M. Hahn, K. Schuette, J. Townsend, C. Willer. group of students took part in forensics this five students in the declamations, there had the local contest. The seven winners picked from Wautoma High School were: Eleanor Spielberger Extemporaneous Reading Daisy Wilcox and Adair Kocurek Humorous Declamation Gordon Kubiak Oration Joanna Townsend Serious Declamation Clara Mae Caswell Four Minute Speech Patsy Schrank Extemporaneous Speaking We won the league contest, which was held at Wautoma, by a large nurnber of points before Almond. The following students competed in the District Tournament: Joanna Townsend, Clara Mae Caswell, Patsy Schrank, and Eleanor Spielberger. Eleanor also went to the State Forensics Contest, where she received an A rating. We can proudly say that the forensic year was successful.
