DANCE BAND Left to Right: Row One: B. Thompson, W. Woodbury, K. Young. Row Two: B. Fitzgerald, D. Tetzlaff, B. DeLaura, M. Forberg. The local swin sters were newly organized this year. You micght call them the No-lglame Jivers since they have no official name. Un er the supervision of Mr. Erdrnan, the group rehearsed once a week in the evening. g The theme song My Best To You adequately describes how interest- ed the group was in presenting pleasing well-rehearsed numbers. The library was varied, includin all the latest tunes of the day plus some Schottisches and even the Flying Dutchman . Yee hoo! ! The band performed at several school parties and dances after the basketball games. Since a comparatively small number leave the group this year, next year should find a good organization to fill the dance en- tertainrnent bill for the School. The second semester brought about a change in personnel Don Tetz- laff and Bob Fitzgerald were re laced by Dick Van Vleet, and DickReilly fTrombonesD and Helen blader fpTru1npetI.
