mi f 3 encor add There s a smell of sprung In the anr The earth has awakened from its wnnter sleep becommg suddenly aluve wuth growung thnngs However Old Alma Mater doesn t seem to be enjoying the season As usual at this trme of year she seems restless and ull at ease There s a trace of sadness nn her eye Though If one were to watch closely enough one would see her occa slonally throw off her melancholy and draw herself up with a gleam of prode nn her eye There she as now Why shes mumbllng to herself I wonder why Let s do a little eavesdroppnng and fund out It yust doesnt seem rsght for them to leave me now after all Ive done for them Whlle I had the chance I should have taught them a luttle gratutude Oh whats the matter wrth me You d thunk after all the tnmes I ve been through thus that I d get used to It After all I wasn t made for the purpose of keeprng them Besndes I know at Isnt easy for them enther Ieavang the lute they ve known so long for one wlth whlch they are so luttle acquainted It s just that we ve been through so much together I can remember our flrst encounter The new bulldlng was In use for the furst tame Newly outfntted and equrpped I felt almost as hugh as they dud Luke all seventh graders they were as nrrepressnble fresh and non con too They d puff up and try to act ,bugger than they really were to make up for the fact that they weren t as bug and seemingly not as Important as the older students All classes are a lot allke and yet I can remember that 5I had an un common amount of good sense They were more frlendly and less quarrel some and petty than some I had gulded before Whnle they were un Jr Hugh It looked luke SI would make athletuc hustory at WH S Their athletlc prowess fanled to come up to expectations but theur capacsty for sportsman shlp and co operatlon developed very well Durnng our years together lt gave me a lot of satrsfactnon to see thevr sense of responsubuluty and cutnzen shup grow I know that somehow I ve become a part of them and they ve be come a part of me Together we ve developed character and tradntson bonds that can t be broken by separatlon Today when the world us so badly upset at a tume that demands clear thanking and good cvtrzenshlp I know somehow they ll Ilve the useful and happy llves unto whnch I ve trned to guide them but We steal guultuly away from our eavesd oppung on the medutatlons of Alma Mater Yes we understand now why she reacts so strangely to sprung We hoDe and yes belreve that the Sensor Class of l95I wall luve up to her expectations In the years to come y -ng fgii...
