C0455 01 1953 It was just a short time ago that we came to WHS as green sophomores. Like most other under classmen we were scared and uneasy at all the newness - especially the huge buildings. Today we look back at those first days and feel amused. IVHS has an altogether different meaning to us now. It has grown to be a part of us, which we will miss greatly. Our Senior Class Play Little Women, the exciting school dances, the many tough assignments and tests we managed to survive, and oh, those exciting football, basketball, baseball, and hockey games. In my estimation W.H.S. offers one of the finest chances for the youth of our day to advance himself to a higher point of living. The administration, faculty, and curriculum are one of the most outstanding in the state. The features I will miss most are the above named factors and most of all the students. Without the students' co-operation, it would lack school spirit, and the every- day enjoyment of going to high school.
