STUDENT COUNCIL... Our student government known as the Student Council was formed to promote a spirit of school co-operation and to secure for students direct participation in the government of our school affairs through home room representatives. The council consists of an executive committee made up of president, vice-president, secretary, and commissioners of finance, school affairs, social affairs, publicity, and pep, and all home room representatives. lt is the duty of all the council to sponsor four all-school dances, football hops, school assemblies, elections, and all pep rallies. They also take care of any other un- expected drives, dances, or other activities that come up during the year. Mr. E. A. Roeske is the advisor and helps the group in solving their problems. Bill Markstrum, newly elected Student Council President, accepts the gavel from retiring President Eickemeyer as the members of the Student Council look on.
