Front L to R; Chris Kephart. Megan Creutz, Jodene Finck, Linnea Folck, Sondra Mainquist. We the Juniors launched our 1982-83 school year with twenty-seven members. And what a year! Soon we were involved in a whirlwind of activities that naturally accompa- ny the Junior year. With Class Play, County Government Day, and Prom how did we ever find time to study? To us this will always be the year of dressing up western, putting on make-up (even if some of us didn’t like it), and doing our best to impress the Seniors with Prom. Yes, this was OUR year! Maybe the best ever! But then, wait till you see us next year!

I, Mike Carlson, will my ability to race to Joel Suhr in hopes he can someday beat me. 1, Todd Carlson, will all of my sarcastic abilities to David Fink in hopes he can straighten out the girls in his class. I, Todd Eckstrom, will my ability to get out of exhibiition driving tickets to Russ Koppelman in hopes he can do it better than I did. I, Steve Finn, will my hot Honda Civic to anyone who can beat my reported record of 29 feet of black marks. I, Scott Frevert, will my favorite parking space to Mr. Hageman in hopes nobody takes it as much as 1 did. I. Jodi Gillilan, will my ability to blush to Patty Wrick in hopes that she will blush a deeper red than 1 did. I, Jane Hoppe, will my ability to whistle with my fingers to Chris Kephart in hopes she can finally get a guy’s attention without telling her intelligent jokes. I, Joel Hoyt, will my right rear fender to Steve Finn since it fits his foot anyway. I, Debbie Johnson, will all my oranges to anyone in band who thinks they can hide them behind their stands as well as 1 did. 1, Lori Johnson, will my ability to get “busted” like the guys to Sandy Swanson in hopes she will show some better judgement. I, Marilyn Kleinschmit, will being a carpenters dream to Chris Kephart. 1, Sherry Koehler, will my ability to knock people over in volleyball to Jodene Finck. I, Kathryn Kumm, will the blue pickup to the next Kumm kid in line in hopes he keeps it on the road as much as I did. I, Christine Landholm, will my ability to get Jodene Finck to go to Bloomfield dances to Megan Creutz in hopes she has better luck than I did. We, Roger Muller and Dave Olson, will our “beverage” tabs, that suddenly disappered from our locker, to whoever isn’t man enough to collect their own. 1, Carol Rosberg, will all of my rude remarks and gross behavior towards out-of-town salesmen to Jodene Finck. I, Joel Suhr, will my ’82 Chadron trip to “Buckwheat” in hopes to show him the way. I, Josette Swanson, will my ability to drive a five speed clutch to Megan Creutz in hopes she’ll someday learn how. I, David Wamberg, will my track ability to Chris Wilbeck, as the saying goes: “no brains, no pain”. I, Tracy Wilbeck, will my keen sense of time to anyone who wants to be late for everything. 1, Randy Wolfgram, will the toolbox on my pickup to John Barnes and Rob Bengston in hopes that it will look better on their cars than it did on mine. I, Beth Wrick, will my unique ability to do “ape calls” around town and on road trips to Michelle Anderson in hopes she’ll keep as many people awake as I did. I, Kathy Young, will my hair-cutting ability to Lisa An- derson so she won’t have to come to Yankton every three weeks. With The Light Of Today We Will Explore The Path Of Tomorrow.
