On March 30, 1979 at 7:00 A. M., WHS band left town on charter buses to visit our friends in the BHS band. We stopped in Le- Mars, Iowa for morning lunch and at Worthington, Minn. for dinner. When we arrived in Bricelyn we practiced our eleven numbers for the concert that evening. Follow- ing the concert the BHS band hosted a dance in the school gym for our band. We stayed over in the band members' homes that night. The next morning we left at 8:00 P.M. We spent Saturday in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. We visited the Children's Zoo and went shopping in the Empire Mall before dining at the First Edition, where we ate by candlelight and fireplaces. After taking in a mov- ie we started homeward, playing cards and discussing the good time had has. We all enjoyed the trip very much.
