SCIENCE CLASSES Mr. Leapley and Mr. Ankeny are the two science teachers. Mr. Leapley teaches 7th grade earth science, chemis- try and physics. Mr. Lea- pley's main purpose for teaching is to provide a background in science such the graduates of Wausa can pursue any future and tech- nology science course. ACADEMIC MATH The purpose of the class is to aid the stu- dents in developing logic, reasoning, and an understanding of basic mathematics. Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry, Advanced Math, And Practical Math are all geared to help the students develop thought pattern which em- ploys logic, reasoning and basic mathemat- ics.

HISTORY CLASSES The history teachers are Mr. Lundberg and Mr. Jacobs. Mr. Lundberg teaches eighth grade Social Studies, World Affairs, American History, American Government, Mod- ern Problems and Economics. In all of his classes he is helping his students under- stand their position in life today. He would like his stu- dents, as individuals, to learn about different situa- tions, understand them and make decisions of their own. Mr. Jacobs teaches World Geography, Civics and World History. He would like his students to learn more about history to become better citi- zens of today.
