LITERATURE ACADEMIC The purpose of the class is to aid the students in developing a Fundamental- ly sound and workable knowledge of literature. This knowledge should in- clude a basic awareness of the clas- sics, American literature, and modern literature. Also studied are the basic rules of grammar.
