CLASS HISTORY In the fall of 1965, fifty freshmen entered Wausa High School to begin four hec- tic but fun-filled years. The class included: Ralph Acklie, Randy Albrecht, Curt Anderson, Milo Anderson, Ron Anderson, Nina Ayers, Lynette Benson, Darle Bjork- man, Robert Block, Ron Buhrman, Peggy Cunningham, Carolyn Eifert, Marilyn Eifert, Patricia Erickson, Patricia Gillian, Linda Greeno, Nancy Greenwall, Amelia Hledik, David Holmquist, Carol Jacob, LaDonna Jensen, Melinda Johnson, Greg Kirby, Gary Kliment, Sandra Koehler, Randy Lackas, Doug Lamprecht, Timothy Lamprecht, De- lores Landholm, Marilyn Larson, Barbara Lauck, Judy Lind, Brenda Lindquist, Bruce Lindquist, Richard Mainquist, Janet Nelson, Ronnie Nelson, Terry Nelson, John Olson, Patricia Plog, Kathryn Reed, Paul Rosberg, Marian Rosen, Alice Schultz, Beth Skalberg, Gary Strivens, Susan Swanson, Leslie Thierof, Carol Wamberg, Dennis Weigert. Class officers elected were: President, Bruce Lindquist; Vice President, Janet Nelson; Secretary, Darle Bjorkman; Treasurer, Beth Skalberg. The Student Council members were: Alice Schultz, Marilyn Eifert, Milo Anderson, Ronnie Nelson. Patricia Gillilan was our cheerleader. Freshman homecoming attendants were Janet Nelson and Bruce Lindquist. Class sponsors were Mr. and Mrs. Orville Johnson. During the year Tim Lamprecht, Nancy Greenwall, and Dennis Weigart moved away. Forty-eight sophomores returned to Wausa High. Class officers were: President, LaDonna Jensen; Vice President, Ronnie Nelson; Secretary, Richard Mainquist; Treas- urer, Marilyn Eifert. Student Council members were Janet Nelson, Carol Wamberg, Leslie Thierolf, and David Holmquist. Miss Arent and Mr. Gosser were class sponsors. Beth Skalberg was sophomore cheerleader. Ronnis Nelson and Beth Skalberg were chosen Homecoming Attendants. Forty-seven juniors entered high school in the fall of 1967. Georgia Schaller en- tered the class during the year and Patricia Erickson left in the spring. Junior officers were President, Leslie Thierolf; Vice-President, Gary Kliment; Secretary, Marilyn Eifert; Treasurer, Ronnie Nelson. Student Council members were: Ron Anderson, Greg Kirby, Judy Lind, and Patricia Gillilan. Junior class sponsors were Mrs. Carson and Mr. Ankeny. Cheerleaders chosen were Beth Skalberg and Janet Nelson. The play, You Can’t Take It With You, was given on Nov. 20. 1967. It was directed by Mrs. Peter Hollister. Our class rings arrived on Feb. 9, 1968. Homecoming attendants were Carol Wamberg and Gary Kliment. The Juniors honored the Seniors at a banquet on May 3, 1968. The theme was Moonlight and Roses. In the fall of 1968, forty-six Seniors returned for their last year at Wausa High. Class officers were: President, Marilyn Eifert; Vice-President, Gary Kliment; Secre- tary, Carol Wamberg; Treasurer, Ron Anderson. Members of the Student Council were: Beth Skalberg, Janet Nelson, Ronnie Nelson, and Les Thierolf. Class sponsors were Mr. Johnson and Mr. Wamberg. Senior cheerleaders were Beth Skalberg and Janet Nelson. Senior pictures were taken on October 16, 1968. Janet Nelson and Ronnie Nelson were crowned Homecoming Queen and King on Oct. 4, 1968.
