EAGLES - 34 V. A. - Z0 Eagles' spirit soared as they started the football season by an impressive victory over Velma Alma. EAGLES - 50 BULLDOGS - 19 Displaying that magic Thompson touch, the Eagles swamped the Healdton Bulldogs. EAGLES - 25 EAGLES - O Winning their third straight victory, the Eagles trounced the Wilson Eagles. Huskins and Rue showed no signs of novice standing but blocked and tackled like veterans. EAGLES - O INDIANS - 32 Comanche Indians turned the tide for the pinioned, Eagles by scalping them with a mighty blow. EAGLES - 52 BLUE DEVILS - O Ringling Blue Devils went home pale as the invulnerable Eagles frolicked over the gridiron. EAGLES - 7 BLUE DEVILS - 14 Stagingapowerful onslaught in the second half, the Walters Blue Devils tasted sweet victory by a touchdown. EAGLES - 12 TIGERS - 7 Temple Tigers had their claws nipped in the second half when the Eagles manuevered one more touchdown. EAGLES - 7 OUTLAWS - 34 Marlow Gutlaws piled up 34 points in the first half and then coasted along to victory. At the close of the season they were named District champions. EAGLES - 7 ROUDIES - 45 Roaring Roudies from Wichita Falls got revenge for the past few years when the Eagles have sent them back to Texas deflated.
