The name is an Indian word meaning dawn of day. For us, as sfudenfs in high school, Waubun, symbolizes an awakening from the darkness of ignorance to the dawn of knowledge and understanding . X! We, the class of '57, dedicate this edition of the Waubun to our true friend and teacher, Mr. C. J. Casper, who through his untiring efforts and time has made the speech program in our school a success.
