Wilkel, I. Olson. The Boys' Glee Club was organized during the second semester of this year. One of the first functions was election of officers. S. Grove was chose as president, R. Larson, vice presidentg and D. Maher, secretary-treasurer. The organization first traveled to Gresham to compete in the solo and ensemble tournament. Later they competed against other schools in the annual spring festival. aibega fe Lilbrenaica The debate club this year had four practice debates and one district debate at Stevens Point. In Forensics, there were four meets: The home eliminations on March 14, the League meet at Bonduel on March 22, the district meet at Stevens Point on April 2, and the state meet at Madison on April 16. The Mixed Choir, The Boys' Glee Club, and the Girls' Glee Club. These singers presented the annual Christmas program, which proved a great success and the capacity-audience enjoyed the program of Christmas selections. In the spring tney participated in district tournaments. The above cast was as followsg left to right: Aunt Genny, Sayward's sister, Rosalie Andrews: Deyia, a daughter, Jane Hart: Sayward's and Genny's father, David Miller, Sayward, his wife, Louise Grantg Aunt Cornelia, Portius' sister, Mary Luftg Sooth, a younger daughter, Mary Lou Redman, and Judge Portius Wheeler, A lawyer, Wayne Towne. Mrs Helen Prochnow was the director. 66 6 Z 77 enior add P a Curtain Going Up, a comedy in three acts, was chosen by the Sen- iors of 1955 for their annual class play. The play was directed by Miss Betty Gerling. The scene throughout the play was the Stage and auditorium of the Riverview High School during and immediately after the production of a school play.
