The Mixed Choir, The Boys' Glee Club, and the Girls' Glee Club. These singers presented the annual Christmas program, which proved a great success and the capacity-audience enjoyed the program of Christmas selections. In the spring tney participated in district tournaments. Events of 1954-55 We started the year out by playing at the Waupaca County Fair at Weyauwega on Septernber ll, and on the 19th of the month the band played at the Wisconsin Rapids Cranberry Festival. October l was the Homecoming and the band per- formed in the parade and also at the half of the game. On November ll we gave an Armistice Day program at King, and were invited back on November 30 for another concert. On December 1 we gave our annual Christmas Concert, on December 21 we gave a concert in the multi-purpose room. This was considered a dedication program. On February 17 we played a concert at Manawa for the students. We had the Luther College Band entertain on the 4th of March. On the llth and 12th we made a tape recording for WSTP, Stevens Point Station and performed at the Homeshow, respectively. The Solo, Ensemble Contest at Gresham was on April 2. The concert groups performed May 7. We played at all the home basketball and football games. We ended our school year by playing on Memorial Day.

Later they competed against other schools in the annual spring festival. aibega fe Lilbrenaica The debate club this year had four practice debates and one district debate at Stevens Point. In Forensics, there were four meets: The home eliminations on March 14, the League meet at Bonduel on March 22, the district meet at Stevens Point on April 2, and the state meet at Madison on April 16.
