The 1983 BRONCO is a student’s view of a year that has become only a memory. The year 1983 will quickly become almost indistinguishable from all the years that have gone before and will follow; but what time erases, this book will keep live, the year as the students saw it at WHS. Throughout the school pockets are visible, pockets that are full of everything imaginable, from car keys to combs. Most importantly though, these pockets contain friends and they are what memories are made of. The life-blood of WHS has flowed swiftly as unforgetable moments and occassions occured this year. An atmosphere charged with sincerity, nervousness, expectation, happiness and vitality has been sensed this year, never again to be recaptured. 1982-1983 was a memory of a game a teacher friends spirit the past enthusiasm 2 The Wearhouse 3 Triple A By-Products Dianne Kae Crapson - Plans to become employed full time and to travel somewhat later. Such activities as a Fall Broadway Review, the annual Christmas concert, a ‘‘Soup, Salad, Sweets, and Song Supper , and a trip to Boulder, Colo, to see a Dinner Theatre kept the choir very busy. After a lot of hard work, an overall first place in the Southern Frontier Conference was well deserved. The choir also did a fine job when they participated in the District contest. Laughter has bounced through these halls and the silence of students hard at work has echoed. The character of the students has seeped into W.H.S. creating a mixture of the fun-loving, the eager, and the studious. Each entering freshman class adds its own personality to W.H.S. Upon graduating the same class will take part of W.H.S. with it. This school means something different to everyone, and it is our hope that we have captured in the 1983 Bronco something of W.H.S. that each student knows, loves, and will remember.
