X xox' 4'! i as f ,af 4 The football team had a highly successful season, winning four games while dropping two and ending up in third place in the conference. Hr. Loomis can well be congratulated for his fine work with the boys and can justly be proud of the team that he developed. Dave 'Tick' Hiller was high scorer with S6 points and his teammates elected him Most Valuable Player. Bob Schmitz was captain. Highlights of the season were the De- forest and Mazo games. It was the first time in school history that Deforest was ever defeated by us. We had won three straight games and were undefeated until we tackled Mazo in the deciding game. Our boys led at the half, but fell behind in the second to go down in defeat 31 to 14.
