Sharon Glenn ONCE AN ACTOR, this year 's con- test play, was a farce dealing with the trials and tribulations of an old, out-dated Shake- spearean actor and his faithful friend. Val- iant attempts to marry his son into the wealth of the John I. Harrigan family were of prime importance to the great William Weathervane, Sr. The cast worked hard and received a Division I at District Con- test in Lansing and a Division II at the State Contest held at Cedar Rapids. STUDE T COUNCIL These class officers, who compose the Student Council of Waukon High School, represent the student body in many school activities throughout the year. The Student Council plays an essential part in the affairs of WHS. Under the able direction of Mr. Taylor, the members fulfill their responsi bilities to their fellow students by managing such projects as magazine campaign, selecting lyceums, planning Homecoming festivities, and others. It is a great honor to be elected to this organization, and each member knows he must be a worthy leader? Mr. Taylor, I hate to disagree, but I think. . . Senior class officers collect magazine money which set the all-time class re- cord of 52950.00
