BOYS' GLEE CLUB The boy's glee club practiced long, hard hours under their able director, Mrs. Bissell. They received a well-deserved Division I rating at the State Large Group Vocal Contest at Independence, Class A. In addition, the boys sang at the annual Christmas Concert. The Canaries were rewarded for their work by singing in the Christmas Concert. They spent much time in practice before and after the program. CANARIES

Another honor was given to the Vocal Music Department when a mixed chorus group was invited to sing at Upper Iowa University at Fayette. Much time and preparation was spent in getting ready for the appearance. However, the hard work was not in vain as the chorus was well received by all.
