Looking over college materials are our class officers: President, Ed Lenthg Vice-President, Gaylen Fruechte, Secretary-Treasurer, Shirley Brandsmeierg and Student Council Representa- tive Richard Gray. Sharon Roderick and Ed Lenth, our Valedictorian and Salutatorian, also received citizenship awards. IOR The Senior Class can be proud of the fine record they have made in their four years at WHS. They have displayed their leadership in school spirit, studies, speech, music, sports, magazine sales, and FFA Sweetheart voting. The records and standards they have set will be hard to equal in years to come. This group rank in the top 15 per cent of their class. They were honored at a Kiwanis' Honor Ban- quet, received pins on HonorDay, and wore gold cords for graduation The students were Ed Lenth, Leon- ard Hanson, Kenny Kiesau, Roger Vonderohe, Ronnie Mauss, Barbara Wenig, Dennis Shogren, Norma Herman, Karla Buntrock, Sheryl Melcher, Linda Klees, Carol Poesch, Susan Stock, SharonRo- derick, Lynne Eaton, and Marilyn Opfer.

WORKERS Playing a major role in the efficient operation of our school are our office girls, Karen Anderson, Margaret Straate, Joyce Fish, and Karen Gullick- son. Our faithful bus drivers who must put in many long hours trans- porting students to and from school form a vital part of our school staff. A familiar sight around WHS is our custodians, Wallace Rekward and Egbert Ewing, who are always busy keeping our school in tiptop shape. Two of our cooks, Mrs. Duvel and Mrs. Zimmer- man, are preparing another of their hearty meals Ms. Rolf' la ' t for a hungry student body.
