CONTE T PLAY At the State Speech Contest in Grinnell for 1960, this hardworking play cast was rewarded for their work-- 3 straight I's, and two of the group were named outstand- ing actors! Everyone came home happy with a job well done. Wilbur Daniel Steel, the author of the short story, How Beautiful With Shoes, would have been proud to see Miss Neprud 's adaptation for the stage. The plot was forceful with tense and breath-taking moments. I ain't Amaranthal Earle Johnson and Shir- ley Maloney who received Outstanding Actors awards at the State Contest in Grinnell.
