GULF Our girls' golf team has done exceptionally well this year. Besides winning all their matches except one, a member of the team took first place at the District Girls' Golf Tournament. This was Sibyl Jacobson shooting a 43 and a 48 on a difficult course to become medalist. The team itself placed third at the District Meet. Members are: Shirley Maloney, Betty Rieck, Mary Rominger, Kay Bigelow, Sibyl Jacobson, Linda Stock and Sue Gordon. TRACK Roger Hager Although the track team had fewer members than ithas hadinthe past, a very good record was left behind. Roger Hager placed first in the 100 yard dash at the district track meet held at Charles City. Roger Palmer qualified for the state meet and went on to place second in the open 880 yard dash. The two- mile relay team placed first at the district meet breaking the modern school record with a time of 8:44.2. Roger Palmer
