Pete also wished to ac- complish something worthwhile with his own hands. When he looked into the in- dustrial arts field, he found that he had a large choice of courses: woodworking, drafting, welding, pattern making, and machine shop. Which choice should he make? He asked Prudy, but she wasn't much help to him in making this decision. Besides, she didnlt understand why girls couldn't take any of these courses. Finally, Pete decided that whichever course he chose, it wouldn't matter as longas he did his best in it.
