REIGNING DURING THE HEVERGREEN IN- TERLUDEH were Edith Treichel and Bill Dicdrich. 5 f s SUCH FORBI + SUCH GRACE! Ken Howard and Bill Belongn exhibit true Cheerleading form during the MTV -rltllr -Faculty gamt Pep Assemblies - Memories Are Made of These Highlights of the Year Remember when? This 758-'59 year has offered so much delightful diary material for all grades. lVho can forget the mounting excitement and anticipation as the WV Club UG-men began, oh so cautiously, to pry open the box containing the mysterious HIt?H That little red devil became an ever-present source of hilarity during the Homecoming festivities as he mimicked the cheerleaders and pestered the players. Those who participated in the card section will re- member a pleasant feeling of importance and distinc- tion because they were part of a first at Xv2ll1liCSl1Zl High. All the girls knew that their hard work insured the chances that the activity would continue for many classes to come. Christmas came and with it our Evergreen In- terlude as we named the winter formal. Rows of evergreen trees transformed the fieldhouse into an en- chanting woodland retreat for school-weary students. After weeks of practice, the faculty finally announced that they were ready to take on the 'Ewell-trained, superb 'WW' Club basketball team. To the astonish- ment of all the students, the faculty team put up quite a fight. These were only a few of the many wonderful memo- ries that made this past year so enjoyable. Long after we've forgotten the names of those we knew here, we'll remember these things we did together. VVHY SO BASHFUL? Actually, these girls are not shy at all ust practicing in the first card section at Waukesha High. B 11
