Silence reigns in the library. Mag- ruders, encyclopedias, and The Readers' Guide are in great cle- mand as ambitious students prepare daily assignments. Others seek re- creational reading found in current magazines and popular novels. Chemistry lab work represents a different kind ot homework. And it can be fun, as Lucille Nielsen and Bruce Bieck prove. As for regular homework, the typical student ad- mits that he spends between 40 to 60 minutes in outside preparation.
